Welcome to the website of the Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla Club of Great Britain.

 

The club was founded in 2006 and the aims of the club best described by the clubs motto "To Serve the Breed".

 

The HWV is a very special breed and the club is dedicated to ensuring the continuing development of the breed in all aspects - confirmation, movement, health, temperament, coat and colour and in all fields whether in the show ring, field, other working environments or purely as pets.

 

 

The club holds events throughout the year, produces its clubs magazine "Wired Up" and supports members and non-members with enquiries about the breed. The committee is drawn from a number of differing fields within the dog world, not all are HWV owners but all have a common appreciation of the breed.

In 2011 the club achieved full Kennel Club recognition. The club holds collates a list of judges qualified to judge the breed at all level. Click on the following headings for further information.
