At BYTE Internet we (like most hopefully) believe that since we all live on planet earth, it is a great idea to keep it in good condition.


If you are of a similar mindset to us you can rest assured that we try to do as much as possible to reduce our footprint.





All server hardware used is disposed of in accordance with WEEE regulations



Your site will be hosted on servers that utilise cold aisle containment systems. This completely separates hot and cold air flows, improving efficiency by up to 40%. Also installed is a managed power system which ensures idle hardware does not consume power unnecessarily.



We run a paperless office here at BYTE. Keeping records digitally, invoicing electronically (although we do send paper bills if requested specifically) and ensuring communication internally and externally is done via email rather than on paper. We also keep printing to a minimum.
